1. What is a Lace Front Wig?

Lace front wigs are manufactured with a thin lace that extends from ear to ear across the hairline.
Lace front wigs are made similar to a regular ladies wig along the back and sides of the unit. When you receive the unit the lace will be really long in the front, you will cut the lace along the front of the unit. The goal here is to create a new hairline. You will not cut all of the lace, as you will apply adhesive to the lace/your new hairline.

3.  What is the difference between a lace front wig and a full lace wig?

A lace front wig is not with lace around the back, so you cannot wear it in a high ponytail with back.

4. How do I figure out my wig size?

7. How do I chose lace color?

The lace color here means the color of the lace in the front. We have different lace color, you can chose lace color to match your scalp.

8. How do I chose back wefts color?

You don’t need to chose weft color, we will match the weft color to hair color. If the hair color you chose is black or dark color, then the weft color will be dark. If you chose blonde hair color, then the weft color maybe nude or light.

9. How to tell difference between human remy hair and synthetic hair?

All of our products are made of human remy hair!
If you do want to double check the material after receive the unit, here are 2 simple methods to help you tell the difference between remy human hair and synthetic fiber wig:
1. You can cut a single short hair and burn it. Human hair smells the same as your own hair when burning because it has protein inside. While synthetic fiber doesn’t smell the same way.
2. You can take the wig to any professional in salon, he will tell you it’s human hair without doubt.

1. What are hair extensions?

Hair extensions are an easy to use accessory, which can easily be attached to your own hair to achieve volume or length and bring a variety of new hairstyles into your life. This can be achieved by different methods, such as Clip-in, Weaving, Bonding, Braiding, Strand by Strand and many more.

2. How to choose the length of your hair extensions?

You can choose any length of extensions based on your personal specifications or dependent upon your natural hair length.
No matter how long your hair is, clip in hair extensions should be worn from a lower part, about 2-6 inch down from your hair top.
Please note that, we highly recommend you to wear clip in hair extensions when your hair is longer than 6 inch.

3. How long do OUOHAIR extensions last?

It depends on how frequently you wear your hair extensions, which style you select and what you do to them, so for example are you regularly applying heat o them? The hair can exceed 1 year assuming that they have been well installed and maintained. Maintenance also refers to visiting the stylist for periodic adjustments. The hair can be removed and reinstalled so long as your stylist exercises care and patience during the removal process. Take proper care of your hair and enjoy the lasting benefits.

4. Can I get hair items with the same texture as the pictures?

Absolutely! We offer so many color and style variations, giving you access to silky, Yaki, straight, curly or wavy hair, plus you have the knowledge that each style is perfectly unique! To ensure you get the best results after application we advise some re-styling with hair tongs and accessories to get your hair looking just as you’d dreamt.

5. How to apply clip in hair extensions?

Step 1: Create a horizontal part about one inch above the nape of the neck and attach the shortest hair extension.
Step 2: Remove hair from the hair clip and part it again from ear to ear, 1 to 1 1/2 inch above the first extensions. Apply the longer hair extensions to your hair.
Step 3: Attach the shorter pieces to the sides of your head, above the ears. Check the following video for more specific directions!

8. Can I color the hair extensions?

Yes! Our hair can be professionally colored. Nevertheless, it is not recommended to color our pre-colored hair since our hair extensions have been previously treated by a chemical method. Double processing the hair will lead to premature shedding and dryness.

11. Can I apply a hairdryer, hot roller, tong or other styling equipments on my extensions?

Since our hair extensions are all made of 100% premium Remy human hair, you can use all of the above. Just like your natural hair, they can be curled, ironed and straightened. However be aware that overuse can cause the ends to become dry and brittle just as your own hair would so make sure you use a heat protector.

17. Can I redye my colored hair extensions?

We don’t recommend redye your hair. Since the hair has been processed and colored, it is difficult to fate to original color. Improper dying will ruin the hair. But If you want to try, We recommend to dye darker. No lighter.

1. How to wash synthetic lace front wig?

Synthetic wigs are much less expensive than human hair wigs. And a good synthetic wig may look same as the real hair and maintain quite long if maintained well.
Here is the steps of how to wash your synthetic hair, and we suggest your to wash your wig once 2-3 days.
Step 1. De-tangle with wide tooth comb before washing.
Step 2. Wash with warm water, hot water may damage your wig hair texture.
Step 3. Wash with gentle baby shampoo or fiber conditioner.
Step 4. Rinse the wig and make sure it is clean enough ( without any conditioner or shampoo on it).
Step 5. Use a towel and pat hair dry instead of hair dryer.
Step 6. De-tangle hair with a wide-toothed comb from the bottom to the top again when it’s dry.
